This Indenture made the Twenty seventh day of August in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and fifty six Between Jonathan Reeves Jun of Northampton in the County of Burlington in the Western Division of the province of New Jersey farmer of the one part and Micajah Reeve of the same place farmer of the other part Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty one pounds current and lawfull money of the province aforesaid to him the said Jonathan Reeve Jun in hand paid by the said Micajah Reeve at and before the ensealing and Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said Jonathan Reeve doth hereby acknowledge & thereof & from every part and parcel thereof doth fully and clearly acquitt release and discharge the said Micajah Reeve his heirs executors and Administrators forever by these presents he the said Jonathan Hath Granted bargained and sold aliened enfeoffed Released conveyed and confirmed and by these presents Doth fully freely clearly and absolutely grant bargain and sell aliene enfeoffe release convey and confirm unto the said Micajah Reeve and to his heirs and assigns forever All and singular that one full equal and undivided moiety or half part or share of two certain pieces parcells or tracts of land situate lying and being in the Township or priety? of Mannington in the County of Salem in the western Division of the province aforesd containing about Two hundred acres in both tracts according to one certain Deed of Conveyance made between George Webb of Mannington aforesaid of the one part and Caleb Reeve of Northampton in the County of Burlington in the Division aforesaid yeoman of the other part bearing the Date the Eighth day of June in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and twenty one as by the said Indenture recourse being thereunto had may more at large appear Together also with all and every the buildings and improvement Mines Mineral Woods way waters watercourses hawkings huntings fishings fowlings and all other the royalties franchises powers profits commodities hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and also all the estate right title interest property claim and demand whatsoever of him the said Jonathan Reeve either in law or equity of in or unto the said one full equal and undivided moiety a half part and share of all the above said two pieces parcells and tracts of land and Granted and bargained premises or any part or parcell thereof and the reversions and remainders thereof and of every part and parcell thereof Which said moiety or equal half part of the above said pieces and parcells of land the said Jonathan Reeve became lawfully seized of by virtue of the Last will and Testament of his Father Walter Reeve Deceased to which the said Walter Reeve became also lawfully seized of as being Eldest Brother & right heir at law to his brother the above named Caleb Reeve who purchased the same as above said To Have and To Hold all the above said full equal and undivided moiety or half part and share of all the above said two pieces parcells and tracts of land and Granted and bargained premises and every part and parcell thereof according to the true and respective meets and bounds thereof be the same more or less unto the said Micaijah Reeve his heirs and assigns To the only proper use benefit and Behoof of him the said Micaijah Reeve his heirs and assigns forever And the said Jonathan Reeve for himself and his heirs executors and Adminirs doth covenant promise and agree to and with the said Micaijah Reeve his heirs and assigns that he the said Jonathan Reeve the above Granted and bargaind premises and every part and parcel with their every of their appurtenances unto the said Micaijah Reeve his heirs assigns against himself the said Jonathan Reeve and his heirs and against all and every other person and persons lawfully claiming or to claim shall & will warrant and forever defend the same by these presents. In witness whereof the said Jonathan Reeve hath hereunto set his hand and seal the Day and year first above written.

The above consideration money rec in full at the same time Jonathan Reeve by his mark endorsed County of Burlington personally came and appeared before me Revell Elton Esquire one of the Judges of the Court for holding of pleas for the County aforesaid John Burr jun one of the witnesses to the within Indenture who on his solemn affirmation did declare that he was present and saw Jonathan Reeve jun the Grantor within named sign seal and as his voluntary act and Deed Deliver the same to the uses & purposes therein mentioned. Taken and acknowledged the 17th of October 1756 before Revel Elton
