Narrative
In 1756, Jonathan sold his brother Micajah land which had come to him from his father's Last Will and Testament which he had "being Eldest Brother & right heir at law to his brother...Caleb Reeve."The will of Jonathan Reeve mentions his brother Barzilla and his three children John, Elisabeth, and Samuel Reeve. The will as recorded in New Jersey Will Records 11 states the date of the will as "Ninth Day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and sixty eight". However the original will reads "fifty eight." The will was proven "29th January Anno Dom 1763."
No spouse or children are mentioned in the will. He is styled as "Jonathan Reeves Junr," The Reeves Family notes that he is styled so in deeds as well. This was probably to differentiate him from his uncle Jonathan Reeve.
