Transcript

Know all men by these presents that we Richard Palmer of Salem in the County of Essex yeoman and Mary Palmer wife of the said Richard in consideration of Five pounds six shillings and eight pence lawful money paid us by the Honble Benjamin Pickman of Salem aforesaid Esqr the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge do hereby give grant sell and convey unto the said Benjamin Pickman and his heirs a moiety of a cows right or common right in the Great Pasture so called in said Salem it being the half right that was set off to said Mary upon a Division of the Real Estate of Cockrel Reeves Late of said Salem deceased To have and to hold the same to the said Benjamin Pickman and his heirs to his and their use and behoof forever and we do covenant with the said Benjamin Pickman his heirs and assigns that we are lawfully seized in fee of the premises that they are free of all incumbrances that we have good right to sell and convey the same to the said Benjamin Pickman and his heirs as aforesaid and that we will warrant and defend the same to the said Benjamin Pickman his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claims and demands of any persons In witness whereof we have hereto put our hands and seals this nineteenth day of November Anno Dom 1770 and in the Eleventh year of his Majesty's Reign
