In the Name of God Amen I John Reeves of Craven County and state of North Carolina being in and of perfect sence and sound memory do make this my last will and Testament in maner and form following that is to say first my will is that all my Just debts be paid and discharged and my body to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executors hereafter named first I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Elisabeth Chesire one shilling starling being in full with what she has already received. I also give and bequeath unto my beloved Daughter Jean Reeves one feather bed and Counterpin also one black walnut table also two heifers called the Island Creek heifers to her her heirs Executors administerators and asigns foreverI also give and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Wilson one feather bed and furniture one Iron pot and hooks one pewter dish and two plates and one earthen dish and two plates and pigin wich I lent to her at her marrage which she received I all so give and bequeath unto my beloved son Jestenon Reeves one walnut chest also one Cow and by the name of pidy and one year old stear and one two year old heifer to him his heirs Executors administrators or assigns for ever also I give and bequeath unto my beloved son Francis Reeves one painted high bedsted one cow by the name of speckle and her calf and one heifer to him and his heirs and assigns for ever I also give and bequeath that the child that my wife is now big with one bedsted and one feather bed and cow by the name of cherry and her calf to him his heirs and assigns for ever I also desire if either one of these my three youngest children should die without heir that his part shall be equally divided between the other two and if two shall die for it all to go to the other one and if all three should die I desire it shall go to my beloved wife Coatney Reaves I also give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Coatney Reaves all the rest of my Estate that is not Expressly given away in this will to her and her heirs and assigns further I do Nominate and a point my beloved friend John Tolson my hole trust Exiter to this my last will and testament revoaking and dismissing all other wills before by me made and no other but this to be my last will and testament in witness whereof I here unto set my hand and afix my seal this thirteenth day of July one thousand seven hundred and ninety signed sealed and delivered in presents of us
