This Indenture made this fourth day of February one thousand seven hundred & ninety two and in the fifteenth year of the Independancy of the United States of America the sixteenth between John Brant of the State of South Carolina and Fairfield County of the one part and Jeremiah Reeves of the State Georgia and Wilkes County of the other part Witnesseth that the said Jno. Brant for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred pounds sterling the receipt whereof he the said John Brant doth hereby acknowledge hath bargained granted sold releas'd and confirmd unto the sd Jeremiah Reaves his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land containing four hundred and sixty acres more or less situate lying and being in the County of Greene and State of Georgia on the Waters of Big Creek butting and bounding south Bradlin Wilsons lands on all other sides by Vacant land having such shape form and marks as appears by the plat of the same annexed to a grant to the said John Brant reference being of thereto had will more fully appear. To have & to hold the afore granted land and premises thereof whatsoever to the said tract or parcel of land belonging or in any wise appertaining thereto and also all the estate right title and claim of and to the said tract of land to the said Jeremiah Reaves, his heirs & assigns to his & their proper use and behoof forever in fee simple.
