THIS INDENTURE made this Twenty fifth Day of March One Thousand Seven hundred and Ninety Four Between Lewis Caig and Elizabeth his Wife of the County of Mason and State Kentuckey of the one part and Elijah Reves of the County & State aforesaid of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Lewis Craig and Elizabeth his Wife for and In consideration of the sum of Forty Pounds Current Money of Said State to them in hand Paid at & before the Sealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge they the sd. Lewis Craig and Elizabeth his Wife have granted Bargained & Sold Aliened & confirnfirmed & by these Presents doth grant Bargain sell Alien & Confirm unto Elijah Reevs his heirs Exs. adm. and Assigns all that Tract or pacel of Land Situate lying and being in the County of Mason and on the Waters Johnson Fork part of a two Thousand Acres Survey granted to said Craig by Pattern Containning Two Hundred acres of Land and Bounded as follows /to Wit/ Beginning at Three dogwoods Corner of dales and runs West One hundred and Thirty and half Poles to a honey Locust Elm and Black Oak in a line of Fineys thence South Two hundred & sixty Two Poles To a Spannish Oak and White Oak on the bank of a small Branch thence E One hundred and Thirty and half Poles to two small Hickorys and a Elm Corner of James dales then No. to the Beginning To have & to hold the said tract or parcel of Land with all & Singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining unto the said Elijah Reevs his Heirs Exs Administrators and Assigns forever to his & their only proper use and behoof and the said Lewis Craig & Elizabeth his Wife for themselves their Heirs Executors &c the said tract parcel of Land unto Elijah Reeves his heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns shall & will Warrant & forever defend against the Claim of all & every person or persons whatsoever In Witness whereof the said Lewis Craig and Elizabeth his Wife hath hereuto set their Hand and Affixed their Seals the day and Year first above Written
