Transcription

THIS Indenture made this Eleventh day of May in the Year of Our Lord One thousand Eight hundred Between William Reaves (sic) Exer. of Woodson Daniel Decd. of the one part & Peter Casso of the other Witnesseth that I the sd. William Reaves (sic) for & in consideration of the Sum of Twenty two pounds five Shillings to me in hand paid by the aforesd. Peter Casso the Rect. whereof I do acknowledge my self therewith fully satisfied have bargained sold & delivd. unto said Casso a certain Tract or parcel of land Situate lying & being in the County of Granville & containing by estimation forty acres be the same more or less, Viz Beginning at a Sweet Gum Richard Talleys corner West side little Ledge Creek thence by his line Et 88 pole to a black Gum North 80 pole to a post oak in John Comer Peaks line thence by his line Et. 60 pole to a pine on the bank of said Creek thence down said Creek as it meanders to the first Station the above bargained land unto said Casso his heirs Exers. Admr. & assigns I do for my Self my Exer. Admr. & assigns covenant to & with said Casso & agree that it is free & clear of & from all Manner of Incumbrances & that we will Warrant & defend the Same forever against the right Title claims or Interest of any person or persons whatever Witness my hand this Day & date above Written ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

This deed was executed by William Reves acting in his capacity as Executor of the estate of Woodson Daniel Decd. William Reves was appointed executor of the 1791 Will of his longtime friend and Wake County neighbor Woodson Daniel..
