Know all men by these presents that I John Reeves of Said State and in consideration of the sum of Twenty Dollars have granted bargained Sold and Released and by these presents do grant bargain Sell and Release unto John Heaton of said State and District all that tract of land containing one hundred and four acres situate in the District aforesaid on the Branch of Mountain Creek a branch of Savannah River and have such shape form and marks as the below plat Represents it being part of a tract of 428 acres Survey the 18th March 1800 for said John Reeves by John McMahan and together with all and singular the Rights __ herediments and appurtenances to the said Lot of land to the said John Heaton ...Witness whereof I the said John Reeves have hereunto set my hand and Seal this thirty first Day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and one and in the twentieth year of the Independence of the United States of America Hezekiah Davis Jonathan Watson

Note: The plat shows lands for 104 acres with a note on the west side stating that part of said tract John Reeves.

Hezekiah Davis made oath before me and sayeth that he saw John Reeves Sign and deliver this Release to John Heaton for the purposes therein mentioned and that Jonathan Watson was a subscribing witness thereto with this Deponent
