Bill of sale from Westwood A. Jones to John Reeves for a negro boy named Tom.

John Reeves                 } Know all men by these presents that I Westwood A. Jones for and in consideration of the sum of one Hundred and forty pounds to me in hand paid by John Reeves the Receipt whereof I do acknowledge as fully Satisfyed have bargained & Sold unto John Reeves a negro boy named Tom the said negro Tom unto said John Reeves his Heirs etc I do for myself Heirs etc. warrant and Defend unto the saidJohn Reeves the Said negro Tom against and from the Right title Claim or Demand of all person or persons forever, In witness whereof I set my hand and Seal this 30 June 1802.
