Transcript

In the Name of God Amen I Samuel Reeves of the township of Stoe Creek in the County of Cumberland and State of New Jersey being in a low state of health but of sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following.
Imprimis I give unto my well beloved wife Mary Reeves the use of the house where I now live and such a part of my land begining at my corncrib and runing westerly along a divishen fence where there is some chere trees down to a slow or a lowe weth? low piece of ground being two fields together with the house during her natural life and fuel for one fire so long as she remains my widdow.
Item. I give to my son John Reeves all that part of my land on which my son John lives on down to the north side of the woodland belonging to the heirs of James Reeves Decd then to run a straight line with Stephen Reeves North line across the field till it intercept Eldad Cook line all that part to the south of that line I give to John Reeves his heirs and assigns forever.
Item I give to my son James Reeves all the remainder of my lands north of that before mentioned line of ? his heirs and assigns forever
Item I give to my son Lemuel Reeves and my daughter Martha Reeves all my moveable estate equally between them after all my just debts and funeral charges be paid and fully satisfied and I do constitute make and ordain David Cook the soal executor of this my last will and testament and I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disannull all and every other former testament wills and bequethed ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament and in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty sixth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand and eight hundred and six Signed Published and pronounced and declared by the said Samuel Reeves as his last will and testament

Eldad Cook one of the witnesses to the within will being duly sworn did depose and say that he saw Samuel Reeves the testator therein named sign and seal the same and heard him publish pronounce and declare the within writing to be his last will and testament, and that at the doing thereof the said testator was of sound and disposing mind and memory as far as this deponent knows and as he verily believes and that Bacon Bowen the other subscribing witness was present at the same time and signed his name as witness to the said Will together with this deponent in the presence of said testator.
