This Indenture made this fifth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & nine between Nancy Davis of the county of Morgan and State of Georgia of the one part & John Reeves of the County of Columbia and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Nancy David for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred Dollars in hand well and truly paid by the said John Reeves unto the said Nancy Davis before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said Nancy Davis doth acknowledge Hath given and granted and by these presents doth give & grant unto the said John Reeves his heirs and assigns forever Two hundred acres of Land be the same more or less it being part of seven hundred acres of land originally granted to James Daniells in the county of Columbia bearing date the sixth day of February one thousand seven hundred & ninety nine. The said two hundred acres of land to include the plantation whereon the said Nancy Davis did live joining eastwardly by Call's lands Northeastwardly & by Reevs's lands Northwestwardly by a line of marked trees running Northeastwardly till it intersects the original line from Claborn Newsom's lands on his north corner near Waddles meeting house, thence eastwardly running parallel with the said Newson's lands till it intersects the original line and hath such shape and form as a plat to the original grant represents. To have and to hold the said two hundred acres of land unto the said John Reeves his heirs and assigns forever against her the said Nancy Davis and against her heirs and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever claiming or to claim - In witness whereof the said Nancy Davis hath hereunto set her hand and affixed her seal the day & year first above writtenSigned Sealed & delivered in }Nancy (her mark) Davis (Seal)
