Summary

P. 546 Nov. 20, 1811, John Hopkins to Benj'n Fuller, both of Jackson Co., $600 for tract of land on Barber's Creek being the old place whereon said Hopkins formerly lived, also the adjoining place whereon Thos. Smith lived containing by survey 275 acres, being part of tract granted Marbury. Signed: John Hopkins.

Commentary

Benjamin Fuller had gone from Pendleton District, SC, to Jackson Co., GA by late 1808, but had returned, and sold the rest of his SC land by late 1811. In the 1820 census of Gwinnett Co., GA, he was listed as next neighbor to Andrew Boyd, the latter who married Fanny Reeves, d/o John Reeves.
