Elizabeth Mills’s }Nuncupative Will } The verbal will of Elizabeth Mills widow of John Mills Senr. Viz, First She wishes no other thirds of her deceased Husbands Estate except the negro girl called Milly which has (sic) now with her and that girl after her death to be Equally Divided between Ann Lock Mills & Eleanor Mills her two nieces, all her clothing to be given to her Daughter Elizabeth Dorit (sic?) -
January 27th, 1814
Saint Mary’s County, to wit, this 26th day of April 1814. Then came James John Mills and Andrew Barris and Severally made oath on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God, that the aforegoing instrument of writing was written by William Mills at the particular request of Elizabeth Mills during her last Sickness, it was read to her, and She said that was her will – that it was all right all which took place in the presence and hearing of these deponents.
