This Indenture made the twenty fifth day of February one thousand eight hundred and fourteen between Elijah Reeve and Nancy his wife of Fleming County and State of Kentucky of the one part and Benjamin Reeve of the County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Elijah Reeve and Nancy his wife for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar current money to them in hand paid by the said Benjamin Reeve before the execution of this Indenture the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant release convey and confirm to the said Benjamin Reeve his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being on Foxes Creek in Fleming County aforesaid being that part of the eleventh lot of Mosely's 30000 acres conveyed to the said Elijah by Elijah Reeve Senr and Peggy his wife by deed bearing date the 13th day of January 1812 now remaining of record in the clerk's office of the Fleming County Court in Deed Book E page 7 and bounded as follows to wit Beginning at a linn standing on the west bank of Foxese Creek in a line between the 10th and 11th lots of Mosleys tract aforesaid thence with said line West of Spencer Reeveses corner in said line thence with Spencer Reeveses line southardly to Foxes Creek thence up the Creek with the meanders thereof to the Beginning containing by estimation one hundred and seventeen and an half acres be the same more or less. Together with all and singular the priviledges and appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions remainders rents issues and profits thereof and all the estate right title interest property claim and demand of them the said Elijah and Nancy their heirs or assigns of in and to the same. To have and to hold the premises above described and every part and parcel thereof with the appertenances unto him the said Benjamin Reeve his heirs and assigns to his and their only proper use benefit and behoof forever. And the said Elijah Reeve and Nancy his wife for them selves and their heirs the land and premises above described and every part and parcel thereof with the appertenances unto him the said Benjamin Reeve his heirs and assigns against the title claim or demand of themselves and all and every person or persons claiming or pretending to claim by through or under them but against no other claim whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents.And it is furthermore the true intent and meaning of this Indenture and so clearly understood by the parties thereto that in case the said Benjamin Reeve or those claiming under him shall at any time be evicted from the premises herein conveyed or any part thereof by any claim whatsoever that the person or persons so evicted are to have no recourse of any description whatsoever to the said Elijah Reeve and Nancy his wife or either of them their or either of their heirs executors or administrators for any renumeration or compensation of any kind the grantors releasing their title for a reduced consideration and the said Benjamin relying solely upon the title thus conveyed without expectation of any possible recourse upon the grantors as above said.
