Pursuant to a decretal order of Essex County Court bearing date the 21st day of February 1814 and an amendatory Order thereto dated 22nd March, wherein, Richard, George, William and Archibald Ball and others are plaintiffs & Reuben Garnett administrator of William Ball dec and Robert Ball are defendants – We the undersigned appointed Commissioners therein _ Do Report that being attended by a surveyor we divided the land whereon William Ball decd formerly lived into nine equal parts having had regard to quality as well as quantity – One, of which we allotted to each of the parties entitled thereto agreeably to the said Decretal Order as follows, Viz _ Lot No. 1 containing 8 acres to Richd. Ball _ Lot No. 2 containing 30 Acres to John Jones & Elizabeth his wife, Lot No. 3 containing 35 Acres to George Ball _ Lot No. 4 containing 32 acres to Archibald Ball, Lot No. 5 containing 32 acres to the infants Hugh & Elizabeth Cox _ your Commissioners beg leave to state as their opinion, that this lot cannot be subdivided agreeably to your order without material injury to the said infants _ It was therefore left entire, which is respectfully submitted _ Lot No. 6 containing 32 acres to John Ball _ Lot No. 7 containing 42 acres to William Ball Lot No. 8 containing 44 acres to the infant Elizabeth Ball, Lot No. 9 containing 53 acres to Robert Ball, as will fully appear by the within plot.
