I Mary Reaves of the District of Chester & State of South Carolina Revoking all others appoint this to be my last will and testament
First it is my will that my lawful debts be paid
I give my plantation thereon I now live to my sister Elizabeth Y Rives and George P Rives to be equally divided between them and in case that either of them die without an heir the other is to have to whole, but in case that neither Elisabeth Y Rives or George P Rives should have an heir of their boddy it is my will that John A Carter shall have one half and James Ford the other if John A Carter should die without an heir it is my will that Wm. K Carter should have one half And if James Ford should die without an heir it is my will that Mary Y Rives should have the other half
I give to my brother George P Rives my bed and half of the furniture but in case that George P Rives should die without an heir it is my will that Mary Y Rives should have the bed and furniture above mentioned I give to Mary Young Rives my trunk and saddle and cloak budle
I give to George P Rives my chest also half of the house furniture
I give to Elizabeth Y Rives one half of my bed furniture and the balance of my house furniture if in case this is not money enough coming from my Father's Estate and Rebeccah's estate to pay my debts Elizabeth Y Rives & George P Rives is to pay them and if there is any money comming to my estate after my is payed it is my will that Elizabeth Y Rives & George P Rives divide the remainder equal.
It is my will that my wearing aperal be equally divided between my sisters and Sarah H Carter & Sarah Farguson & Frances Booth & Jiney Ford and Elizabeth Y Rives. I appoint Jesse Carter & John Culp Executors of this my last will and testament, the above is my last will and testament witness my hand and seal this twenty second of April in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and Eighteen.

Personally appeared before me Robert Rives who being sworn as the law directs doth make oath and say that he saw Mary Rives sign seal publish pronounce & declare the within to be and contain her last will & Testament & that she the said Mary Reives was then of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding to the best of the deponant knowledge and belief and that David Lyle & Wm Lyle together with himself did sign their names as witness thereto at the request & in the presence of the Testatrix and in the presence of each other at the same time Qualified Jesse Carter Ext.
Given under my hand this the fifth day of July in the year of Our Lord AD 1819Robert Rives{
