Transcript

This Indenture made this 4th day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and nineteen and in the forty third of American Independence Between John Olive of this County of Columbia and State aforesaid of the one part and John Reeves Guardian for Effee Drane minor of the State and County aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the said John Olive for and in consideration of the sum of Twelve hundred dollars to him in hand well and truly paid by the said John Reeves at and before the sealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey to the said John Reeves as guardian for Effee Drane minor heirs his heirs and assigns forever all that tract of land situate lying being on the waters of the great Kioka Creek in the State and County aforesaid it being one hundred acres of a two hundred acre tract original granted to Jesse NcNeill on the 22nd October 1784 and conveyed by him to Ferrel Riley & by the said Faril Riley to Daniel McNeill deceased and by the said D McNeill dcd to William Riley & Ferrel Riley by the said William Riley and Ferrel Riley to the said John Olive having such shape as follows viz Beginning at a blackjack running northwest forty five degrees to a pine corner on an agreed line or corner between the said William and Ferril Riley from thence north east to a pine thence running South east to a pine from thence running to the Blackjack the Beginning corner be the same more or less together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the said tract or parcel of land being belonging or in any wise appertaining and the remainder, reversions, rents, issues & profits thereof and of every part thereof To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land and all and singular the premises and appurtenances thereunto belonging as aforesaid and every part thereof unto the said John Reeves as guardian for the said Effee Drane minor unto him his heirs and assigns to the only proper use benefit and behoof of the said John Reeves as guardian for the said Efee Drane minor him his heirs and assigns forever and the said John Olive him his heirs the tract or parcel of land & premises aforesaid and every part thereof the said John Reeves guardian for Effee Drane aforesaid him his heirs and assigns against the said John Olive him his heirs and against every other person or persons whatsoever shall and well warrant and forever defend by these presents
