Transcript

This Indenture made this fourth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nineteen and in the forty third year of American Independence Between John Reeves guardian for Effee Drane minor of the County of Columbia and the State aforesaid of the one part and John Olive of the State and County aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said John Reeves guardian for Effee Drain minor aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of twelve hundred Dollars to him in hand well and truly paid by the said John Olive at & before the sealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold and conveyed to the said John Olive him his heirs and assigns forever all that tract of land situate lying being on the waters of the great Kioka and in the State and County aforesaid containing one hundred acres more or less Beginning at a pine corner running S38 W47 joining lands of William Drane untill intersects with said John Reeves line from thence South 65E 29 to a pine corner joining land of said Drane from thence North 25 Est 38.75 from thence to a pine corner from thence N44 Wes 20.80 (?) the beginning corner it being part of a tract of land originally granted to Walter Drane Esq containing two hundred and fifty acres granted on the 19th August in the year of 1790. And laid off to the said Effee Drane minor as her proportion of said Walter Dranes Real Estate agreeable to his last will it being the 6th lot which will more fully appear by reference being had to the original plan of distribution. Together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the said tract or lot of land being belonging or in anywise appertaining and the remainder, reversions, rents, issues and profits thereof and of every part thereof. To have and to hold the said lot and tract of land and all and singular the premises and appurtenances thereunto belonging as aforesaid and every part thereof unto the said John Olive him his heirs and assigns to the only proper use benefit and behoof of the said John Olive his heirs and assigns forever and the said John Reeves guardian for the said Efee Drane minor him his heirs the tract and lot of land and premises aforesaid and every part thereof unto the said John Olive him his heirs and assigns the said John Reeves guardian for Effee Drane minor aforesaid his heirs and all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In witness whereunto the said John Reeves guardian for the said Effee Drane minor as aforesaid hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year within written
