Transcript
This Indenture made & entered into the Twenty Sixth day of June in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred & Nineteen Between Martin Fisher of the County of Bedford & State of Tennessee of the one part and Benjamin Reaves of County & State aforesaid of the other Part Witnesseth that for and in Consideration of the sum of Eleven Hundred dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged that given granted bargained sold aliened conferred and by these presents do give grant bargain & sell unto the Sd Reaves and his heirs & assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the county aforesaid & on the North of Duck River Beginning at a (?) Sycamore on the Bank of Duck river opposite Two Island thence down the river with it meanders to Michael Fishers Spring to a box (?) and Spanish Oak thence North two hundred and forty one poles to a sugartree & Elm thence East Twenty three poles to a Walnut cedar thence south two hundred & fifty one poles to the beginning containing by estimation one hundred ten acres be the same more less. To have and to hold the aforesd land & bargained premises with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto. Belonging or in anywise appertaining to the only proper use & behoof of him the said Benj. Reaves his heirs & assigns forever and the sd Martin Fisher for himself his heirs and assigns doth & will warrant & forever defend the sd tract or parcel of land from himself his heirs & assigns & from every other person or persons whatsoever lawfully claiming the same.In witness, whereof the sd Martin Fisher has hereunto set his hand & affixed his seal the day and year just above written

I James McKesuk Clerk of the Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions of the County aforesaid do hereby certify that the Execution of the within deed of Conveyance from Martin Fisher to Benjamin Reaves for 110 acres of Land was acknowledged in open court by the said Martin Fisher and and and to be certified for registration. Given under my hand at office this 15th day of October 1819
