Georgia - This Indenture made the 26th day October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one and in forty sixth year of the independence of the united States of America between Jonathan Reeves Senr of the County of Jasper of the one and Robert H Dixon of the County of Telfair of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Jonathan Reeves Senr for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred Dollars to him in hand paid at and before sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold aliened conveyed and confirmed and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell alien convey and confirm unto the said Robert H Dixon his heirs and assigns, all that or parcel of land situate in the fourth district in the county of Irwin containing four hundred and ninety acres, Known and distinguished in the plan of said District by the number 119 adjoining number 116 on the east 118 on the north number 148 on the west and number 120 on the south side of said Lot number one hundred and nineteen lying on the waters of the oakemulgee - To have and to hold the said bargained land with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the said land being belonging or in anywise appertaining with remainder and remainders reversion and reversions, rents, issues and profits thereof to the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said Robert H Dixon his heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee simple; and the said Jonathan Reeves Senr. his heirs executors and administrators the said bargained lot of land number 119 unto the said Robert H Dixon his heirs executors administrators and assigns, against the said Jonathan Reeves Senr his heirs executors and administrators and all and every other person or persons shall and will warrant and forever defend by virtue of these presents in Witness whereof he the said Jonathan Reeves Senr hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year first above written.
