Narrative

Jonathan received $139.34 as his share of his father Jeremiah Reeves' estate in 1820.

He may have been the Jonathan Reeves, born around 1781 to 1790, who was recorded in Newton County, Georgia in the 1830 census and in the 1840 census possibly the a little further west in Campbell County.

Research Notes

Although there had been some confusion between the various Jonathan Reeves of this Guilford County Reeves' family, it appears that the Mary Clark who married in Jasper County in 1814 was, in fact, married to Jonathan, the son of Jesse Reeves.
