Transcript
I Elizabeth Reeves of Bridgeton in the county of Cumberland & State of New Jersey, being of sound mind and memory, do make and publish this for my last will and testament.First, I give and bequeath my large Bible, to my son Abraham Reeves.
Second, I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Gilman wife of Uriah Gilman my best gown and silver ? ? that may be left at my decease, being left to her choice if then living, if not to the proper representative of her heir or heirs.
Third, I give and bequeath to my daughters Eunice Reeves and Rachel Reeves or the surviving one of them or their lawful heirs all my wearing apparel (except what is above devised) to be equally divided between them.
Lastly, my will is, that my funeral charges, and just debts should all be paid by my executor herein after named, and that the residue of my estate (if any there be) should be equally divided between my son Abraham Reeves, my daughters Eunice Reeves and Rachel Reeves, the survivors of them or their lawful heirs. Also I do appoint my son Abraham Reeves executor of this my last will & testament, in case of the death absence or inability of the said Abraham Reeves to execute the same, my will is that David Lupton should act upon the said will as executor to the same.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the nineteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty four.

Lewis M. Dare one of the witnesses to the within will being duly sworn did depose and say that he saw Elizabeth Reeves the testatrix therein named sign and seal the same and heard her publish and pronounce it as her last will and testament and at the time of the doing thereof she was of sound and disposing mind and memory as far as he knows and verily believes and that Benjamin K Platts the other subscribing witness was present at the same time and signed his name as a witness together with this deponent in presence of the testatrix
