In an 1805 deed, Abraham and his wife Elizabeth sold land to his brother Johnson Reeves they had inherited by the will of John Reeves, Abraham's father. The deed notes Abraham was of Hopewell in Cumberland County. In 1815, Abraham and Elizabeth, still of Hopewell, sold more land which had been inherited from Abraham's father.

Abraham and Elizabeth were still of Hopewell when they sold some land in 1822 to Jonathan Fithian.

Headstone reads: "In memory of Abraham Reeves elder of this church who departed this life November 2nd 1822 aged 59 years 3 months and 3 days."

Wife's headstone reads: "In memory of Elizabeth Reeves, wife of Abraham Reeves, who departed this life July 3, 1831, aged 70 years, 5 months and 19 days"

Administration of the estate of Abraham Reeves (intestate) was granted to Elizabeth and Dan Simpkins on 11 Nov 1822. Inventory was made 6 Dec 1822 by James Hood and John Holmes.

An 1823 Deed from a William S. Reeves to Uriah Gillman transferred William's "equal undivided sixth part being one of the heirs of Abraham Reeves dcd." It's unclear how this with the will of the widow Elizabeth.

In 1824, the apparent children of Abraham Reeves, dcd. sold land to Jeremiah Bacon. The grantors are Uriah Gillman and Mary his wife, Thomas Harris and Nancy his wife, John Wace and Elizabeth his wife and Abraham Reeves all of Hopewell. Elizabeth, widow of Abraham signed away dower in the deed.

Elizabeth Reeves made her will in 1824 and it was proved in 1834. She states she is of Bridgeton in Cumberland County and names children: Abraham Reeves, Mary Gilman wife of Uriah Gilman, Eunice Reeves, and Rachel Reeves. Son Abraham Reeves was made executor. He was ordered to make an inventory on 31 Jul 1834. It is odd that Eunice and Rachel were not listed in the heirs deed and two of the apparent daughters in the deed are not listed in Elizbeth's will. More research is needed to verify that Nancy Harris and Elizabeth Wade were daughters.
