The People of the state of New-York, by the grace of God, Free and Independent:
To Mehitable Reeves, Thomas Kelsey and Jonah Moore, of Lansing, Tompkins County, Send Greeting:
Whereas Moses Reeves as is alleged, lately died intestate;...do grant unto you, the said Mehitable Reeves, Thomas Kelsey & Jonah Moore full power...to administer and faithfully dispose of all and singular the said Goods... And we do, by these presents, depute, constitute, and appoint you, the said Mehitable Reeves, Thomas Kelsey & Jonah Moore Administrators of all and singular the Goods, Chattels, and Credits which were of the said Moses Reeves, deceased
In testimony whereof, we have caused the Seal of office of our said Surrogate to be hereunto affixed. Witness Miles Finck? Esquire, Surrogate of our said county, at Ithaca, Tompkins Co. aforesaid, the twenty sixth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty five.
