Transcript

I James Reeves of Hunsdon in the County of Hertford Butcher being of sound mind memory and understanding (Praised be God) Do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament First I order will and appoint that all my just Debts be paid as soon as conveniently can be after my decease and all the Rest Residue and Remainder of all my Real and Personal Estates whatsoever and wheresoever of what nature or kind soever (after payment of my Debts and Funeral expences) I Give Devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Elizabeth Reeves her Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns to and for her and their own use benefit and disposal absolutely And I hereby make constitute and appoint my said wife Elizabeth Reeves sole and full executrix of this my last will and Testament And I hereby revoke all former wills by me at any time or times made. In witness whereof I the said James Reeves have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirty first day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Ninety five

Elizabeth Reeves sole executrix within named
was sworn to the truth of this will & to the true
performance thereof & that to the best of her knowledge &
belief the goods chatels & credits of the deceased
do not amount in value to the sum of twenty pounds.
before me J Britton, Surrogate

Proved on the 24th day of June in the year of
our Lord 1828 before the Revd J Britton Clerk
Surrogate &c by the oath of Elizabeth Reeves the Widow and
the sole Executrix to whom Admon &c was granted she
being first duly sworn to administer.
