Transcript

Know all men by these presents that I John M Reavis of the County of Henry and State of Tennessee doth bind myself my heirs executors or Admrs unto Samuel B Reavis of the town of Columbia and State aforesaid and do by these presents bargain sell and transfer all the right title claim and interest that I have or hereafter may have as a legal heir to the real and personal estate of Thomas Reavis Decd for which claim and int in the above mentioned estate the said Samuel B Reavis hath bound himself &c to pay the said John M Reavis the sum of one hundred and twenty five dollars. In testimony of which I the said John M Reavis have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 18th day of September Eighteen hundred and Twenty nine

The foregoing deed of conveyance from John M Reavis to Samuel B Reavis was proven in open court by the oaths of James Watkins & Henry Reavis the subscribing witness thereto and ordered to be certified.
