Tis Indenture made this Twenty ninth day of November in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and twenty nine, Between William Watson of the County and State aforesaid of the one part and Sidney K. Reeves of he same place of the other part Witnesseth that the said Watson for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred Dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and o by these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Sidney K. Reeves his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land Situate lying and being in the County aforesaid and in the Town of Monroe and Known and distinguished in the plan of said Town by Number fifty three and fifty four and being in the north east corner of said Town Containing one half acre each to have and to hold said tract or parcel of land unto him the said Sidney K. Reeves, his heirs and assigns Together with all and Singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof to the same in any manner belonging excepting the well near the lien of the said bargained premises a free and equal use of which is hereby retained by the said William Watson and covenant thereto which are also granted and conveyed by these presents to the said Sidney K. Reeves, to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple. And the said William Watson for himself his heirs Executors and administrators the said bargained premises unto the said Sidney K. Reeves his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against themselves and against the claim of all other persons whatsoever. In witness whereof the said William Watson hath hereunto set his hand seal, the day and year above written. Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of
