This Indenture made and entered unto this thirty first day of May in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and thirty two between John E Reaves of the one part and Patrick J Murray of the other part both of the County & State aforesaid.
Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and fifty Dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged the said John E Reeves hath bargained and sold & conveyed unto the said Patrick J Murray all that tract or parcell of land situate lying and being in the tenth district of formerly Henry now Newton County and known in the plan of said district as no one hundred and fifty seven containing two hundred and a half acres together with all and singular the appurtenances thereto belonging from him and his heirs and the said John E Rieves doth warrant and defend the right and title to the above described lot or parcel of land to the said Patrick J Murray his heirs Executors and administrators and assigns forever in quit claim & not otherwise
