William Reeves to John Reeves for 43 1/2 Acres Land }}Know all men by these presents that I William Reeves citizen of Brown County & State of Ohio, in Scott township, for and in consideration of the sum of thirty Dollars to me in hand paid before the delivery hereof by John Reeves of County & State aforesaid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have given, granted, bargained, sold and forever quit claim to a certain piece or parcel of land on the waters of the east fork of Whitcoah, being part of a survey made for Eustus Kendle No. of Entry 3519, Deeded to my by Augustus Straight, which parcell of Land is bounded as follows, viz. Beginning at Peter Lowdwe Erbach's Southwest corner at 2 dogwoods and sassafras thence thence South 26 west one hundred and four poles to a beech elm & maple in Barrets line, thence North sixty four west sixty seven poles to a large beech and small dogwood corner to John Stansberry, thence twenty six East with Stansberry line one hundred & four poles to a red oak and mapel in the line of Peter Lowderbach, thence with Lowderbacks line South 64 East, sixty seven poles to the Beginning, containing forty three acres and a half to have and to hold, said granted premises with all the previleges and appurtenances thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining to him the said John Reeves, his heirs & assigns forever, promising hereby to warrant & defend the said granted premises against myself and all persons claiming by from or under me, my heirs or assigns. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventh day of August one thousand eight hundred and thirty three.
