Know all men by these presents that I Archibald Reeves of the County of Bedford and State of Tennessee for and in consideration of the sum of seven hundred and fifty dollars to me in hand paid by Tarlton J. Reeves of the County and State aforesaid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, I have sold and conveyed and by these presents, do sell and convey unto said Tarlton J. Reeves, all of my right, title, claim and interest, in and to the Estate, both Real personal and mixed of Archibald Reeves Senr deceased, my Father, To have and to hold to the said Tarlton J. Reeves, his heirs Executors, and Admrs.Witness my hand and seal this 20th day of October A. D. 1841

Loomis, subscribing Witnesses to the within conveyance, who being first sworn depose and say that they are acquainted with Archibald Reeves the within named bargainer and that he acknowledged the same in their presence to be his act and deed upon the day it bears date.
