John Reeves of the County of Grayson and State of Virginia of the one part and George W. Reeves of the same place of the other part, Witnesseth that the said John Reeves for the good will he has for his son George W. Reeves, to have and to hold by the George W. Reeves before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof the said John Reeves doth hereby acknowledge, the said John Reeves have given granted bargained and by these presents doth give, grant bargain unto the said George W. Reeves and his heirs forever a certain tract or parcel of land, lying and being in the County of Grayson on Peach Bottom Creek & New River containing Seventy acres more or less and bounded as follows to wit, Beginning at a Chesnut a corner of Coxes and Wm. Burris’ Land and with Burris line N45 E 354 poles crossing Peach Bottom Creek to a Spanish oak Burris & Cox’s corner, thence leaving Burris’ line and with said Cox’s line S50 E 24 poles to a Spanish oak at the head of a hollow S20 W 40 poles to a white oak W18 poles to a Spanish oak on the side of a hill S 35 W 18 poles to a Spanish oak on the side of a hill S 35 W 1606 poles crossing Peach Bottom Creek to a chesnut and Spanish oak on the top of a high hill S0 W 54 poles to a white oak near a road S75 W50 poles to the beginning. Together with every right title priviledge and appurtenances thereunto belonging to which I doth warrant and defend a good and lawful right and title unto the said George W. Reeves and his heirs forever, and free from myself and heirs and all other persons or claims whatever.
