In the name of God Amen
I Lavina Reeve (widow of Abraham Reeve dcd) of Mount Holly in the County of Burlington and State of New Jersey, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make and publish this as my last will and testament vzt
Firstly I order and direct that all my just debts and funeral expences be fully paid immediately after my decease
Secondly, Unter my sister Ann Prinsett, I give my new set of Crockery ware
Thirdly, Unto my sisters, Elizabeth Cook, Ann Prinsett and Sibbillia Webb, I give all my wearing apparel to be equally divided between them as to value, quantity and quality
Fourthly, I order and authorize my executor to collect in all debts due and owing my estate to sell and dispose of all my estate real and personal granting and conveying unto the purchaser or purchasers of the real estate as good and sufficient title in the premises sold as I could make if living and the funds thus raised after paying charges and expenses to divide into four equal shares or parts which I give and bequeath as follows vzt
Unto my sister Elizabeth Cook I give one of those one fourth parts or shares to be paid into her hands (if she be living) taking her individual and separate receipt for the same
Unto my sister Ann Prinsett I give one other fourth part or share to be paid into her hands (if she be then living) taking her individual and separate receipt for the same deducting the debt she may then owe me
Unto my sister Sibbellia Webb I give one other fourth part or share
Unto my nephew Jonathan Hartman and my nieces Ann Winters, Louisa Elbertson and Lavina Wills I give the remaining fourth part or share to be equally divided between them
But in case of the death of any of my said Legatees before receiving what is herein given them my will is that the heirs or legal representatives of such deceased legatee shall take the same to be equally divided between them - Mary Webb daughter of my sister Sibbillia Webb to be placed on an equal footing with her sister Hannah Ann
I desire that my body be laid near that of my husband in the Methodist burial ground in Lumberton and that match stones be placed at the head and foot the head stone to have inscribed on it my name and age
I nominate and appoint my friend George Haywood executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all wills heretofore made
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the thirteenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty six

State of New Jersey Burlington County } Samuel C Forker one of the witnesses to the within will being duly sworn according to law doth depose and say that he saw Lavina Reeve the testatrix therein named signed and seal the same and heard her publish pronounce and declare the within writing to be her Last Will and Testament and that at the doing thereof the said testatrix was of sound disposing mind memory and understanding as far as this deponent knows and as he verily believes and that Caleb Sager and Charles B Neale the other subscribing evidences were present at the same time, and signed their names as witnesses to the said will together with deponent in the presence of the said testatrix
