I James Reaves of the County of Maury and State of Tennessee do make and publish this my last will and testament and first I direct that my body be decently interred and as to such worldly estate as it hath pleased God to intrust me with I dispose of the same as follows
First I direct that all of my debts and funeral expenses be paid, as soon after my decease as posible (sic), out of any moneys that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my Executor from any portion of my estate real or personal
2 I give and bequeath all my worldly estate real and personal unto my wife Peggy Reaves During her life natural life and at her death I do will and bequeath unto my two Sons Robert A. Reaves and William R. Reaves the all my lands where I now live containing one hundred and ninety acres be the same more or less at my wifes death to be divided north and South with the first cross fence below the garden
3 I give and bequeath unto Martha Ann Rountree my negro girl Vicy at my wife Peggy Reaves death
4 at my wifes death the perishable property to be equally divided among all the heirs of my body I do hereby make and ordain and apoint (sic) my Son Robert A. Reaves Executor of this my last will and testament in Witness whereof I James Reaves the said testator have to this my last will written on one sheet of paper set my hand and seal this the
