Commentary

This enumeration page, in common with many others, uses the spelling Chisledon (sic) rather than the modern form Chiseldon in the "Where Born" column.

William's mother Betty Reeves and his brother Charles Reeves were living in the neighbouring village of Badbury also in the parish of Chiseldon at the time of the 1851 census.
