Commentary

Based on the way the two subsequent lines of text are indented, it is probable the full occupation for Charles is intended to read "M.D. L.L.D. University Giessen, London &c Practising as Physician" and that the second and third lines are not intended to be his wife's occupation.

There is no stated occupation for Charlotte Reeves although her relationship to the head of household is unambiguous.
