The forename of the 1 month old boy Reeves is not distinctly written on the census ennumeration sheet. It could possibly be interpreted as Nathl (superscript l) as an abbreviation of Nathaniel or less likely as Saml for Samuel. FreeBMD does not have an entry which corresponds to either of these interpretations.FamilySearch notes the baptism of Egbert James Reeves, the son of William and Harriett Reeves at the Parish Church of St Marys, Southampton on 18 May 1851. See https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/NRN9-16X. There is a corresponding FreeBMD birth registrations for Egbert Reeves in the June quarter of 1851 in the Southampton Registration District. Additionally, there is a death registration for Egbert James Reeves in December quarter of 1852.
Tantalisingly, William and David share the same place of birth, but their kinship, if any, can not be determined from this census return.
