Transcript

I Samuel Reeve of the Township of Mannington in the County of Salem and State of New Jersey (Farmer) being of sound disposing mind and memory, and being in perfect health of Body, but considering the uncertainty of this transitory life do make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner and four following to wit
First. - It is my will and I do order that all my just debts and Funeral expenses be duly paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently can be after my decease.
Item. - I give demise and bequeath all my personal estate and real estate of whatever kind and wherever situate unto my wife Achsah S. Reeve, her heirs and assigns for ever in fee simple.
Secondly. - I do hereby constitute and appoint my said wife Achsah S. Reeve executrix of this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all other wills and legacies and bequests heretofore made and directing this and no other to be my last will and testament.
In witness whereof I have set hereunto my hand and seal this sixth day of the tenth month one thousand eight hundred and fifty two.

Edward Vanmeter one of the witnesses to the within will being duly sworn did depose and say that he saw Samuel Reeve the Testator therein named sign and seal the same and heard him publish pronounce and declare the within writing to be his last will and testament and that at the doing thereof the said Testator was of sound and disposing mind and memory as far as said deponent knows and as he verily believes and that Joseph T Stout and Isaac Hackett the other subscribing witnesses were present at the time and signed their names as witnesses to the said will, together with this deponent in the presence of the testator.
