This Indenture made this 15th day of February in the year of our Lord 1856 by and between John Gill of the first part and Elizabeth H. Gill of the Second part all of the County of Wake and State of North Carolina. Witnesseth that the Said John Gill for an in consideration of the natural Love and affection which he hath for his Daughter the Said Elizabeth H. Gill has Gave Granted and by the presents doth Give Grant and deliver unto the said Elizabeth H. Gill her heirs and assigns forever a certain parcel of Land Lying and being in the County and state aforesaid on the East Side of the Road Leading to parkers Bridge it being a part of the Tract of Land which Jesse Gill Give to his Son the Said John Gill vig, Beginning at in the center of the Road in Wyatt Mangums Line thence with his Lines S 9/2 W 143 poles to a white oak thence N 88° W 83 poles to a pile of Rocks on the Said Road Six (?) above the post thence NE along the Road 183 ½ poles to the beginning - containing according to measurement fifty four and 1/- acres thereunto belonging as in anywise appertaining and I do hereby agree to warrant and forever defend the Right and title of the Said Land to her the said Elizabeth H. Gill her heirs and assigns forever in Witness thereof I hereunto Set my hand and Seal the day and year first above written.
