York District       }    In The Name of God Amen
I Elizabeth Reeves of the district and State aforesaid being weak in body but of Sound & Disposing Mind & Memory do make and ordain my last will & testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.

And First I will & devise that my debts and funeral Expenses be paid out of the first monies that be recovered.

Second I will & devise unto Free. Andy Cathcart my negro woman Franky to him and his heirs forever he the Said Free Andy paying one hundred dollars to my Executors,

Third I will and divise unto Sarah Ward my three Negroes, Martha and two children Monroe & Mary them and their future increase forever, unto the Said Sarah Ward and her heirs forever.

Fourth I will and devise unto Nancy Rieves (sic) my three Negroes Thom Eliza & Syntha them and there future increase, unto the Said Nancy Rieves and her Ishue or heirs of her body forever.

Fifth I will and Devise that all my real estate consisting of the place where I now live with all my personal property not above named be Equally divided between my two Step Daughters Sally Ward & Nancy Rieves them and their Ishue forever -

Sixth I will and divise that the Said Sally Ward & Nancy Reeves Shall mentain (sic) and keep there Father John Rieves my beloved husband on the lands willed to them during his life time with a Sufficiency of Comfortable clothing and board and the necesities of life.

Lastly, I will that the Negroe Woman Franky willed to Free Andy is to him for his use as above but I Appoint Mr. Archibald Barron his Guardian to act for him in all respects in her behalf and I nominate and appoint My friends Peter Garrison Esqr & Wm B Allison Executors of this My last will & testament.

In witness whereof I the Same Elizabeth Reeves have Set my hand & Seal this 28th day of November 1857.

I hereby renounce the foregoing appointment as Executor & refuse to qualify as such Jany 5th 1858.

York District       } Personally appeared Duncan McCallum before me & made oath that he was present and saw Elizabeth Reeves sign & seal and heard her acknowledge the foregoing as her last will & testament & that he with Wm B Allison & Joseph Miller witnessed the execution thereof and subscribed their names as witnesses in her presence and in presence of each other & that she was of sound & disposing mind and memory.
