Lancaster District } Know all men by these presents that I James A Blackmon of the State & District aforesaid for & in consideration of the sum of four Hundred Dollars to me in hand paid by James B Reeves of the District & State aforesaid have granted bargained sold & released & by these presence do grant bargain Sell & release unto the said James B Reeves a certain tract or parcel of Land containing two Hundred & one third of one acre be the same more or less beginning at a Hickory Corner thence to a Stake corner on the Spring branch thence down the branch to the Creek thence down the Creek to two post oaks corner thence to a post oak corner on the branch between me & James Catoe thence up the branch to a pine corner thence to a stake corner thence a cross the big road to a pine corner thence to the double pine corner on the big road thence to a stake thence to a Sweet gum corner on the branch thence a cross the said branch to a red bud corner thence to a post oak corner, thence to a white oak corner on the branch thence a cross said branch to a stake corner in the road on the old line thence a cross said branch & creek to a Red oak corner thence to a Spanish Oak Corner thence a cross the creek & branch to a Mulbury corner thence to the beginning hickory Corner opposite & near Mr James A P Blackman mill. Containing two hundred & one third of an acre more or less together with all & singular the rights members & appurtenances to the said premises belonging or in anywise appertaining to have & to hold all the premises before described unto the said James B Reeves his heirs & assigns forever & the said James A Blackman does hereby bind himself his heirs Executors & Administrators to warrant & forever defend all & singular the said premises unto the said James B Reeves his heirs & assigns against myself my heirs & assigns & against every other person lawfully claiming or to claim any part thereof witness my hand & seal this the 11th day of February A. D. 1868
