I Absalom Reeves of the county of Bedford and State of Tennessee, farmer, do hereby make and publish this my last will and testament revoking all former wills by me at any time made.
First, That all my past debts if any be paid as soon as possible by my executors.
Secondly, I leave to my wife Elizabeth the Homestead and all the lands on the north and west of the north fork creek during her natural life, the rents pr proceeds to be applied to her support as fully as she may need or desire my Executor to attend to the renting of the place for her and collecting and applying the proceeds according to her direction. If she lives on the place on the said Executor to make such provision for help and support as she may desire and if she thinks proper to live elsewhere then the proceeds of the land aforesaid to be applied according to her direction. And after the death of my wife Elizabeth the land mentioned in this paragraph to be sold by my Executors who are authorized to make deed to the same as fully as if I had done the same without any decree of court for that purpose.
Thirdly, As soon after my death as practicable my Executors shall proceed to sell all my personal property except what may be necessary for a years support for my wife Elizabeth leaving out what is exempt from execution, the said executors to sell also all my land on the East and south side of the said North fork creek and make deed to the same as directed in section second of this will.
Fourthly, I appoint Jordan Rucker and John W Rucker my Executors to carry out this provisions of this will and the proceed of the sale of my land and personal property and rents of land no appropriated for the benefit of my wife to be equally divided between my children or their heirs, In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal this September the 16 1874
