This Indentum made and intered into on this the 17th day February 1881, by and between N. S. Rhodes and Neaty A. Rhodes his wife parties of the first part and W. S. Carroll party of the second part all of the County of Lauderdale and State of Alabama, witnesseth that the party of the first for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred dollars to us in hand paid by the party of the second part tho of which is hereby acknowledged have bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents I bargain sell and convey to the party of the second part a certain tract or parcel of land lying and situated in the County of Lauderdale and State of Alabama known and designated as the S. E.1/4 of the S. E.1/4 of section 21 and the S. W.1/4 of the S. W.1/4 of section 22 T1, Range 13 West containing Seventy nine acres 11/100 of an acre, also the S. W.1/4 of the S. E.1/4 of section Twenty one Township one Range 13 West containing Forty acres more or less also the S. W.1/4 of the N.W.1/4 Section 27, T1, R13 West Containing 40 acres and 15/100 also the N. E.1/4 of the N. E.1/4 of Section 28, T1, R13 West Containing forty acres to have and to hold to the said W. S. Carroll party of the second part his heirs and assigns in xxxx xxx. In Testimony whenof the party of the first part have herewith set them hands and affixed them scals this the day and date first and before written.

Rhodes whose name is signed to the forgoing Conveyance and who is known to me acknowledged before me on this day being informed of the contents of the Conveyance be executed xxxxxxxx on the day the same xxxx date given under my hand this 17th day of February 1881. Lauderdale County}.....County aforesaid do hereby certify that on the 17th day of
February 1881. Comes before me the within Neaty A. Rhodes, known to me to be the wife of the within N. S. Rhodes who being by me examined separate and apart from her husband touching her signature to the Conveyance acknowledged that she signed the same of her own will and accord and without lean constraint or persuasion of her said husband.
