Beverly Frederick Blasingame enlisted in Company H, Georgia 42nd Infantry Regiment on 4 Mar 1862 as did his brothers John Franklin and William. All three were present at the seige of Vicksburg, Mississippi. Beverly was a POW after the fall of Vicksburg but was paroled and released by July of 1863.
