In the 1830 Census of Monroe County, Kentucky, Clarissa Goodall is listed as the head of household that includes only herself which may be the last record of her.

The published diary of Clarissa's brother, attorney Charles Copland of Richmond City, Virginia, contains an entry on the 7th of April 1817 that he set off that day on a trip with his wife and son Robert to Logan County, Kentucky to visit relatives of his wife. After several stops en route and spending a week in Warren County, Kentucky, he noted that about the 25th of June they then went to Barren County "to visit my sister Goodall". "The Diary of Charles Copland” was published in the William & Mary Quarterly (1st series), vol. XIV, p. 217, 224-27 in 1906.
