The Current Story for Group 01
Neither of the two members of DNA Group 1 have provided pedigrees for their lineages and in the entire FtDNA Y-DNA system they only match each other, no other Reeves individuals or other surnames which is in itself puzzling. This may be due to recent immigration from Great Britain and indicates that other members of that family never immigrated.Basic research of one of the members of this group reveal his ancestor to be Jabez Albinas Reeves who was born on 14 Aug 1840 in Motcombe, North Dorset District, Dorset, England. Jabez Reeves immigated to the U.S. in 1865 according to information he gave for the 1900 U.S. Census of Dover, Tuscarawas, Ohio.
