Research Notes
The 1900 census of Hattiesburg, Perry County, Mississippi mistakenly shows that Deborah Ferrell and Joseph A. Myer has been married for twenty years but also that Deborah had given birth to no children. In the 1910 census, this is listed as Deborah's first marriage, Joseph's second and shows that they had been married for 16 years which agrees with the date of their published marriage on 4 December 1893.Find A Grave Memorial #173363525 includes a photo of the obituary of Joseph's first wife Martha Myer with details of the family's history. The memorial for Deborah E. Ferrell, #57361386, also includes a photo of the 1893 marriage announcement for Deborah and Joseph A. Myer.
