A History of the County of Bedford: Volume 2 (pub 1908) indicates a number of early registersThe first book of the registers begins in 1591 and goes to 1665; the second runs from 1653 to 1685, (3) begins in 1678 and contains burials to 1718, baptisms 1637 to 1719, and marriages 1689 to 1720. (4) baptisms and burials 1762 to 1783, (5) the same to 1813. (6) a printed marriage register 1754-69, and (7) its continuation to 1813.
