Longstock, Hampshire

Location

Longstock is in the west of the county of Hampshire, mostly on the western side of the River Test. The village is to the south east of the parish of the same name, on the bank of the River Test. The Parish (CofE) Church is St Mary, Longstock, which can be found here on Google Street View.

Parish Registers

"A History of the County of Hampshire: Volume 4" (pub 1911) indicates only two early registers as follows
the first containing baptisms and burials from 1718 to 1812 and marriages 1718 to 1754;
the second containing marriages from 1755 to 1812.

Adjacent (Pre 1832) Parishes

To parish of Longstock is roughly triangular in shape, to the south east lies Leckford and Stockbridge. To the south west Longstock is bounded by Houghton & Nether Wallop and touches Broughton. To the north it is bounded by Wherwell and touches Chilbottom.
