Northwood, IoW, Hampshire
Location
Northwood sits on the northern shores of the Isle of Wight, bounded by the River Median in the east and Newton River in the west. Historically, it included the town of Cowes. For additional information please see A History of the County of Hampshire: Volume 5 at British History OnlineParish Church
The Parish (CofE) Church is St John the Baptist, Northwood, which can be found here on Google Street View.Until 1894, St Mary, Cowes was a chapelry of Northwood parish, when it became an ecclesiastical parish in its own right.

"A History of the County of Hampshire: Volume 5" (pub 1912) indicates seven early registers as follows(i) 1539 to 1593; (ii) 1594 to 1598; (iii) 1599 to 1605; (iv) 1606 to 1618; (v) 1621 to 1660; (vi) 1653 to 1759; (vii) 1743 to 1812.
