Location

Launton is an ancient parish located in the north east of the county of Oxfordshire. The village of the same name lies in the south of the parish. To the east, the parish abuts Buckinghamshire.

The market town of Bicester is a couple of miles to the west. The county town of ((GB_OXF_Oxford|Oxford) is approximately sixteen miles to the south-west, the town of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire approximately the same distance to the east south east and Banbury, Oxfordshire also the same distance to the north-west.
